We ship all our products via An Post however shipping method may vary depending on destination country.

Customs Note: When shipping outside of the EU, any import taxes or charges that are due as a result of getting packages though Customs in the destination country are the responsibility of the customer.

Returns & Refunds Policy: When it comes to returns, there are two types of products that are available to purchase from The Paper Lane. These are off the shelf products without any customisation and bespoke or personalised products which have been customised for the customer. Please see the appropriate section below. All requests to cancel or return an order should be made as soon as possible by sending an email with “CANCELLATION” as the subject title to: hello@thepaperlane.ie

Off The Shelf Products: For un-customised, straight off the shelf products, if you are unhappy with your product in any way, you have the right to cancel an order within 14 days from the point you receive the product, or if sent in multiple deliveries, the point you receive the final delivery. Please return the product to us in its original packaging and a full refund will be issued to the original payment method within 14 days. If the products are faulty or damaged then we will cover the cost of return shipping to us.

Bespoke or Personalised Products: Products that have been customised in any way such as the personalised products on this website and fully bespoke purchases are exempt from the policy above. In these circumstances the following cancellation terms apply: If you cancel prior to accepting your artwork proofs (pre-print) then a refund of 50% of the original value of the order or part of the order being cancelled will be refunded. If you cancel your order after accepting your artwork proofs then your order will have already gone to print. At this stage no refunds will be given.

Returns Policy

Unwanted, unsuitable or faulty goods can be returned to The Paper Lane by the customer or gift recipient and we aim to make this process as simple as possible.

 

Unwanted or Unsuitable Goods

Unwanted or unsuitable goods can be returned within 14 days of receipt as long as the goods are in perfect condition and in their original packaging. Prior to returning the item, please contact us to receive a Product Return Code to ensure the item is accurately tracked upon return. This code should then be included with the returned item. We recommend you return your item using a delivery company with a tracking service to be absolutely sure the items arrive back to our returns section.

In accordance with the European Directive on Distance Selling (Directive 2011/83/EU), customised goods made according to custom specifications (i.e. personalised gifts) may not be returned. We try to prevent errors by ensuring the customer signs off on a proof of customised product.

 

Faulty Goods

Faulty goods may be returned to us within 30 days of receipt and we shall arrange a refund or replacement. Prior to returning the item, please contact us to recieve a Product Return Code to ensure the item is accurately tracked. Include this code with the returned item and use a reliable courier service to return the goods.

This Returns Policy is in accordance with the European Directive on Distance Selling (Directive 2011/83/EC). These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
