We can alter the design and colours of your invitation and all text is customisable in a font of your choice. After you place your order we will send you a booking form to request further details needed and confirm your text, font, colour choices and any design changes. Once we have everything we need from you, we will then create a digital proof of your stationery, this will be emailed to you. We will then adjust the artwork until you are happy with the design. A printed sample can also be sent on request. We only send your final artwork to print once you give us the go ahead. Your stationery will be shipped to you a few days later.

Invitations: Our Invitations come in 5 sizes. A6, A5, DL, and Square (all come in Flat or Folded options) and Trifold (Folded option only). All sizes come in Landscape or Portrait. Your invitations will be personalised with a font and colours of your choice and supplied with envelopes.

Flat Invitations: This option will either have your chosen design on the front and your personalised wedding details on the back or your personalised wedding details on the front and additional information on the back of the card.

Folded Invitations: This option consists of your chosen design on the front and personalised with your wedding details printed on the inside right of the card. There is additional space on the inside left and the back of the card which can be used for extra information.

Tri-fold Invitations: Tri-fold Invitations consist of 3 panels front and back. This option is ideal if you are considering including an RSVP card or need to include a lot of information. This invitations will have your chosen design on the front and personalised with your wedding details printed on the inside middle of the card. The back of the card and inside left of the card will have room for extra information and the panel to the right can be used as your RSVP postcard which will be perforated for your guests to fill out and post back to you.

ORDER PROCESS

All text is customisable in a font of your choice. You can also alter the design and colours of your invitation. After you place your order I will be in touch to request any further details needed and confirm your text, font, colour choices and any design changes. Once I have everything I need from you, I will then create a digital artwork proof of your stationery, this will be emailed to you.

It is important at this stage that you check your proofs very carefully to ensure you are happy with everything. All text, spelling, imagery and design is to be carefully checked. Any errors, such as spelling must be brought to our attention. Please note, what you approve is what will go to print. If any amendments are needed then let me know and I can adjust the artwork which will then come back to you again for approval. An email of approval MUST be received before any artwork can be sent to print.

Once approved we will send your stationery to print and you should then receive it within a few days. You will get an email notification to let you know it’s on the way.

DELIVERY & RETURNS

Delivery Information: We ship all our products via An Post however shipping method may vary depending on destination country.

Customs Note: When shipping outside of the EU, any import taxes or charges that are due as a result of getting packages though Customs in the destination country are the responsibility of the customer.

Returns & Refunds Policy: When it comes to returns, there are two types of products that are available to purchase from The Paper Lane. These are off the shelf products without any customisation and bespoke or personalised products which have been customised for the customer. All requests to cancel or return an order should be made as soon as possible by sending an email with “CANCELLATION” as the subject title to: hello@thepaperlane.ie

Bespoke or Personalised Products: Products that have been customised in any way such as the Wedding Stationery or personalised products on this website and fully bespoke purchases are exempt from the returns policy above. In these circumstances the following cancellation terms apply: If you cancel prior to us beginning your artwork we will be happy to refund. If you cancel your order after we have competed your artwork at this stage no refunds can be given. Rest assured that all stationery items are sent in perfect conditions and wrapped very carefully. Please take great care when opening the package, so the items inside won’t get damaged.

Faulty Goods: Upon delivery the customer should examine the goods and should inform us of any apparent damage, defect or shortage. In the unlikely event an error/fault is discovered, the goods in question should be sent back to The Paper Lane. Postage will be reimbursed if the error is ours. Faulty goods may be returned to us within 30 days of receipt and we shall arrange a refund or replacement.

This Returns Policy is in accordance with the European Directive on Distance Selling (Directive 2011/83/EC). These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

TIMELINE

Save the Dates:
You would usually send out your Save the Dates about 9-12 months before your wedding day. If your wedding is abroad, you should send them out even sooner (12-18 months) to allow people time to book and save for their trip.

Wedding Invitations:
You can begin the design process for your Wedding Invitations up to 1 year before your wedding if you wish, but generally 4-6 months before is standard. However if you need your invitations sooner than this please get in touch and we will do our best to help you out. Allow 2-7 days for printing and keep in mind you will need time to write and address them. If you have not ordered enough, get in touch asap and we will arrange to send you some more. Also, don’t forget you can buy “Love” stamps from An Post!

On the Day Stationery:
Ideally you should place your order for your On the Day Stationery such as Order of Service Booklets, Table Names, Place Names, Signage, Menus, Place Names etc about 4-6 weeks before your wedding. If you have left it later please get in touch asap.

Thank You Cards:
Wait until after your Wedding Day to order your Thank You Cards. Once you have received your professional photos and have chosen some suitable shots, send them on to us and we will send you back a proof.
