Standard Greeting Cards
Each of our Greeting Cards comes with a complimentary envelope in a protective packet. They are blank inside for your own message. We print all our cards on 350gsm FSE certified card. This means that the paper is sourced from 100% well-managed forests (Forest Stewardship Council – www.fsc.org). All our cards and envelopes are suitable for recycling.
Personalised Greeting Cards
We can provide you with a proof of your personalised Greeting Card. If you order a personalised Greeting Card that includes a photograph, please email it to hello@thepaperlane.ie after you have placed your order. If for any reason we think there is an issue with your photograph or any of the information you have submitted, we will get in touch to let you know. If you receive your card and there is an issue with it that is our mistake we will happily change it for you.
Sending a Greeting Card direct to the recipient
We are happy to send your greeting card directly to your recipient for you. Please pop your message for your card in the info box at the checkout and insert the recipients address in the address section instead of your own. We will hand right your message on the inside of the card.
Sending a Greeting Card with a Framed Print
We are happy to send your Personalised Framed Print directly to the recipient for you. Your frame will be wrapped in brown paper with our logo sticker and tag and bow on it. If you would like to include a Greeting Card with your frame, choose the card you would like and add it to your basket along with your frame. Then pop your message for your card in the info box at the checkout and insert the recipients address in the address section instead of your own. We will hand right your message on the inside of the card.
Shipping
We send our cards out in the post everyday so they will usually arrive within 1-2 working days. However we cannot guarantee how quickly An Post will deliver them especially during busier times. Please note: Personalised cards may take a few days longer as they have to be made especially for you. If you require a rush order or you would like your greeting card order to be sent with tracking (€5.40 extra) please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Delivery Information
We ship all our products via An Post however shipping method may vary depending on destination country.
Customs Note: When shipping outside of the EU, any import taxes or charges that are due as a result of getting packages though Customs in the destination country are the responsibility of the customer.
Returns & Refunds Policy: When it comes to returns, there are two types of products that are available to purchase from The Paper Lane. These are off the shelf products without any customisation and bespoke or personalised products which have been customised for the customer. All requests to cancel or return an order should be made as soon as possible by sending an email with “CANCELLATION” as the subject title to: hello@thepaperlane.ie
Bespoke or Personalised Products:
Products that have been customised in any way such as the Wedding Stationery or personalised products on this website and fully bespoke purchases are exempt from the returns policy above. In these circumstances the following cancellation terms apply: If you cancel prior to us beginning your artwork we will be happy to refund. If you cancel your order after we have competed your artwork at this stage no refunds can be given. Rest assured that all stationery items are sent in perfect conditions and wrapped very carefully. Please take great care when opening the package, so the items inside won’t get damaged.

Faulty Goods
Upon delivery the customer should examine the goods and should inform us of any apparent damage, defect or shortage. In the unlikely event an error/fault is discovered, the goods in question should be sent back to The Paper Lane. Postage will be reimbursed if the error is ours. Faulty goods may be returned to us within 30 days of receipt and we shall arrange a refund or replacement.
This Returns Policy is in accordance with the European Directive on Distance Selling (Directive 2011/83/EC). These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

All text is customisable in a font of your choice. You can also alter the design and colours of your stationery. After you place your order I will be in touch to request any further details needed and confirm your text, font, colour choices and any design changes. Once I have everything I need from you, I will then create a digital artwork proof of your stationery and this will be sent to you by email.
It is important at this stage that you check your proofs very carefully to ensure you are happy with everything. All text, spelling, imagery and design is to be carefully checked. Any errors, such as spelling must be brought to our attention. Please note, what you approve is what will go to print. If any amendments are needed then let me know and I can adjust the artwork which will then come back to you again for approval. An email of approval MUST be received before any artwork can be sent to print.
Once approved we will send your stationery to print and you should then receive it within a few days. You will get an email notification to let you know it’s on the way..

Baby Thank You Cards:
These cards are usually sent as a Thank You to anyone who has sent a present to celebrate the birth of a new baby. They include a photograph, the date of birth, time of birth and can also include the babies weight and length, parents names and siblings names. The cards listed on this website are blank on the inside for your message but if you would like us to design the inside of them too we will be happy to do so, this is a great way of including more photographs and information. If you are getting your cards printed on the inside too it will incur an additional cost.
Personalised Headed Notepaper:
Personalied Notepaper is a lovely gift for someone who enjoys writing letters. We can include their name or name and address on the headed paper. These sheets are A5 size and come with C6 envelopes so your note can be folded in half and placed into the envelope comfortably.
